Here is the terrarium I just finished, as usual it’s made using the “tiffany” method of stained glass working, that’s to say the pieces of glass are edged with copper foil tape which allows them to be soldered together.

This terrarium has an opening at the front and a mirror back, so it looks twice as big as it is, or more precisely twice as deep as it is. Or it looks like it has twice as many plants in it when you plant it up. It’s a very attractive design, this one measures approximately 15 inches high, 12 inches wide and 6 1/2 inches deep. I used to make them around twice this size but that’s pretty big for shipping.

It’s finished with a copper patina on the solder.
